Gary Gregoire has brought a sense of “Old World” style homebuilding to the Colorado Springs area. Inspired by his European travels, Gary, through his company, Gregoire Homes, Inc., created a new dimension in home building. Looking at a home as a work of art; the project becomes his canvas. By placing the framing, finishing, painting and roofing aspects of the homebuilding projects under his direct control, Gary maintains a consistently high level of excellence. He recognizes the importance of builder involvement at every level as being paramount when building a superior residence where every aspect is to be enjoyed.
Gary, from the time he was four years old, was taught the craft of home building by his father who was in the construction business. He learned every trade from excavation through finish carpentry. He financed his education via his own cabinet shop and a ski scholarship (he continues to be a ski instructor) and graduated from the University of California- Davis with a BA in Math, History and Physical Education. During this time he was also in ROTC and was the co-owner and pilot of his own plane. The following year, while teaching at the high school level, he simultaneously earned his Masters Degree in Business and Public Administration from the University of California-Sacramento. His education completed and a year’s teaching experience behind him, he joined the Army, became a pilot and accepted an active-duty assignment to Europe, where he experienced actual “Old World” architecture, the direct inspiration for his style in home building. After serving in the 12th Aviation Brigade in Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield. His next assignment was to the U.S. Space Command which brought him to Colorado Springs. Gary fell in love with the area, retired from military service as a Lieutenant Colonel and established Gregoire Homes, Inc.
Nearly thirteen years later, Gary’s passion for building continues and you will find his completed homes in the Broadmoor Resort Community, The Broadmoor, Cedar Heights, Kissing Camels Estates, Peregrine, Turkey Canyon, The Black Forest, Pinon Mesa and Wilderness Valley in Manitou Springs. Each of his Colorado homes is an exquisite blending of construction, design and the environment, maximizing the gorgeous Colorado views while possessing each client’s individual desires. He has rightly earned the reputation as one of Colorado Springs’ stellar builders.
Gary feels the owner is a key partner in the team he assembles, making each home a true masterpiece. Therefore, he looks forward to meeting you, learning your building needs and sharing his experience and design ideas which are relative to your unique needs. He enjoys the home building process and the fact that his homes are designed and built to blend with the site and satisfy the owners’ desires. |
